I'm reviewing Timba Smits Wooden Toy Magazine Quarterly.
the Wooden Toy Publishing Co was founded in late 2005 by Melbourne born art director, artist, magazine junkie and ping pong afficienado Timba Smits. Born through a combination of loves, instinct and determination, The Wooden Toy Publishing Co has become Timba, Josie and Jay's sharpened desire to design, publish and distribute the most unique, limited and collectible art & design related magazines, books and products the world has ever seen.
Timba is also a guest curator of Gorker Gallery, a cutting edge contemporary art space in Melbourne's premier art precinct, Fitzroy.
I find this website heaps informative on up and coming contemporary artist and its like your being let in on all the little secrets in the art world.
So yeah check out its quircky little set up with its vintage and tattered appeal.
